Commissions
Painting pastel portraits of people and pets are my passion.
A pastel portrait makes a perfect present – turning your ideas into personal gifts to yourself, family or friends – whether birthday, Christmas, anniversary, a thank you gift or just a way of bringing pleasure to others or yourself.
Portraits of People
Adults, children, individuals, pairs or larger groups or even a mix of people and pets together.
Portraits of Pets
Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits or other animals in any number, or any combination, that you – or a friend if you wish to give the painting as a gift – have as a pet. May include one or more people.
Sizes of paintings
Sizes range from A5, A4, A3 card or larger, though A4 and A3 card are the most popular, depending on number of subjects. When mounted and framed the finished size is larger.
Photograph of subject(s)
I work from good quality photographs of your chosen subject, which can be sent to me as a jpeg image as an email attachment. I am happy to view a number of photographs and agree with you a final image, perhaps suggesting adjustments leading to a better portrait.
Price
Price depends on chosen subject(s) and size of painting and can vary from £180 upwards, including
mounting and framing.
Contact me to discuss your ideas and preferred sizing and I will give you an indication of likely cost.
Until we agree a suitable image, size and overall price there is no obligation on your part.
The final painting is presented for your perusal prior to agreeing mounting and framing which I usually arrange. I deliver the framed work to you when complete, ready for hanging. Depending on distance there may be a charge for delivery.
Full payment by card, cheque or cash or BACS transfer is due on delivery/collection.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the final painting it will remain in my ownership for me to exhibit, alter and/or sell at my discretion.
